In our foster program, we provide all funds for vet bills, food and supplies while fostering. Fostering a dog or cat is a wonderful way to help animals in need. By opening your home, you can provide them with a safe and loving environment while they wait for their furever home.
- Foster volunteers must be 18 or older
- Foster volunteers should have a comfortable, safe environment to provide an animal, as well as have plenty of love to give

- Anything you may need for the dog
(Kennel, Leashes, Harness, Collar, Food etc)
- Cleo‘s Legacy provides all medical care while you are fostering the dog.
Foster fails happen (when you are fostering and decide you are in fact, their furever home) - especially if you’ve met your soul-dog! Once the dog is cleared for adoption, you can go through Cleo’s Legacy regular adoption process.

Day trips are a wonderful way to help.
Often times, our rescue does not have enough foster homes and we need temporary day trippers to fill in gaps to get these sweet souls the nourishment & attention to begin their journey on a good path.
From a few hours, to a few days!
You will receive a brief orientation at the directors home on your first day trip.
You can text to schedule day trip pick ups there-after!
1. You can schedule a photoshoot for your day trip dog and get them some much needed social media attention to help them get adopted.

2. Doggie Paddles in Florence welcomes our day trippers for free! You can take your day trip dog to the agility course and/or swimming pool by calling and reserving a spot at 859-586-0634
3. Take them up to get a bath at Pet Supplies Plus in Cold Springs. Spoil them by letting them pick out a toy!
4. Local Trails & much needed hiking time! Here are a few personal favorites:
